Hey I have one doubt, in question itself they given that father age is twice the age of son. So it will be like this only 2(24+x+2) = (x+2)?

Isn't it 20 years?
He is 22 years only after 2 years. To find the present don't we have to subtract 2years from 22?
Please tell me.

It is Simple.
X is the age of son (added with the age of his father) and and 24 is the age of his father which increases by 2.

Answer is 20 because after getting value of x which is age after 2 years is 22. So from 22-2=20 is age and his father is 24.
