Ashas Monthly Income = 60% of Deepak Income (78000).
Ashas Monthly Income = 78000*60/100 = 46800.
120% of Maya Income = Ashas Monthly Income (46800).
Maya Income = 46800/120%.
Maya Income = 39000.
Ashas Monthly Income = 78000*60/100 = 46800.
120% of Maya Income = Ashas Monthly Income (46800).
Maya Income = 46800/120%.
Maya Income = 39000.

Hi,
A = x% of y & B = y% of x.
A/B = x/100*y/y/100*x.
A/B = xy/100/xy/100.
Or A/B = xy/100*100/xy.
On cancellation we get A/B = 1/1.
A = B.
A = x% of y & B = y% of x.
A/B = x/100*y/y/100*x.
A/B = xy/100/xy/100.
Or A/B = xy/100*100/xy.
On cancellation we get A/B = 1/1.
A = B.

10% of 100 = 90 then 100% of 10 =100 not 90. So how a=b. Wrong answer.

A = 10% of 100 => "10"
(x) (y)
B = 100% of 10 => "10"
(y) (x)
Then A = B.
(x) (y)
B = 100% of 10 => "10"
(y) (x)
Then A = B.

Answer is wrong because take an example.
x = 10, y = 100 (x is less than y).
Then A = x% of y => 90.
B = y% of x => 10.
So, answer is 'D' not 'E'.
x = 10, y = 100 (x is less than y).
Then A = x% of y => 90.
B = y% of x => 10.
So, answer is 'D' not 'E'.
