First, find the ratio, X is paid 120%, Y is paid 100, so.
120 : 100 = 6 : 5.
550 = 11x.
5x = 250.
120 : 100 = 6 : 5.

x+y=550. So you can imagine 550 is 200%.
120% of 550 is 300.
Simply 550-300 = 250.
