45%
45 5 %
11
54 6 %

Total runs = 110.
Total runs from boundaries and sixes = 8 * 6 + 3 * 4 = 60,
Runs made by running between the wickets = 110-60 = 50,
Percentage of run made by running between the wickets = (50/110 * 100)% = 45.45%.
Correct Answer : (C)

Total boundaries and sixes are (3*4+8*6) = 60.

So the remaining score is running between the wicket.

i.e.110-60 = 50. Then we have to find 50 is what % of 110.

So the answer is 50/110*100 after solving this answer is 45 5/11%.

Just we have used the formula.

50 runs are scored by running out of total score 110.

And as we have asked the ans. Should be in percentage.

Any quantity when multiplied by 100, we get the value in percentage.

Total runs = 110.

Runs got by boundary & sixes = 60//[4x3 + 8x6].
Runs got by wickets = 110-60 = 50.

They are asking what percentage 60 is what % of 110.

So, x% of 110 = 60.
x*110/100 = 60.

x = option B.

Out of 110 Runs, he scored 60 runs by hitting the boundaries. Also, it is mentioned to calculate what percentage of total runs will he score by running between the wickets.

Am I right? Anyone, Please clarify.

Actually, it converts from 500/11 to 45*(5/11) to a mixed fraction by quotient* remainder/divisor.

For eg: By dividing 500/11 we get quotient =45, remainder=5 divisor =11.
Then we form 45* (5\11).

Total runs 110.

3 boundaries=3*4=12.
8 sixes =8*6=48.

Total score = 110-(12+48)
=110-60.
=50 total runs.

Percentage =50/110 * 100,
= 500/11.
= 45.45 mixed fraction lo rayaga 45*5/11.

Total run = 110.

No of sixes = 8,
Runs by 6= 8*6=48,
No of four =3,
Runs by four =4 * 3=12,
Runs between the wickets =110-60=50,
%of runs are 50 divided by 110 *100, = we will get the answer.
