then run scored by running b\w the wicket =110-60

as we know 1/100 = %
so
x/100 = x%

eg. 1/2 = {(1/2)*100}/100 = 50%

similarly 1/3=33.33%

.)5/6 = 1/2+1/3 = 50%+33.33% = 83.33%

.)3/8 = 12.5*3 = 37.5% (1/8=12.5%)

now carefully read the last line of Que. What percent of his total score did he make by running between the wickets?

so % required = {(50/110)*100}/100 = 45.45%

Let given that 110
4*3=12
6*8=48
12+48=60
110-60=50
(50/110)*100%
=45*5/11%

explaination:x%of a number is given as :(x*number)/100 and not (x*100)/number..
for eg 10%of 20 is 2...therefore according to my formula its (10*20)/100=2 but according to the way the sum has been solved here its (10*100)/20=50...which is wrong how can 50 be 10%of 20????
therefore here its (50*110)/100=55%

50/110 X 100 = 5000/110 = 500/11.

Now divide the 500 with 11 and the answer is 45 5/11.
