When we divide 500 by 11 then we get 45 as answer and 5 as remainder so B is the answer.

In order to find the percentage of runs scored by running the wickets.
see the total runs scored by the batsman is 110.
runs scored by fours and sixes is 4*3+6*8=60
then runs scored by running b/w wickets = 50(total runs(110) - runs scored by fours and sixes(60))
for 110 runs if he scored 50 runs by running b/w wickets
then for 100 how much
this can written in the ratio form as 110:100::50:X
then x=(100*50)/110
solving we get the answer as 500/11
converting in mixed fraction we 45*5/11.
i hope u understood.. have a nice day.

3*4=12,
8*6= 48
48+12=60
Total run b/w the wickets 110 - 60=50
Therefore %= 50/110* 100 = 45.454545
8*6= 48
48+12=60
Total run b/w the wickets 110 - 60=50
Therefore %= 50/110* 100 = 45.454545

An important interview question:
Question: 75% of a number when added to 75 becomes the number itself. The number is ?
Solution:
Let the required number be x.
x = 75% of x + 75
x = 75/100x + 75
1x = 0.75x + 75
1x - 0.75x = 75
0.25x = 75
x = 75/0.25
x = 7500/25
x = 300.
Verification:
75% of 300 = 275
Now 755 + 75 = 300
Hence 300 is the required answer.
