Solve of 3500*12/7 = 6000.
6000*3/2 = 9000.
6000*3/2 = 9000.

Don't you think that B's total investment should be 7*9000?
Because we have to find B's total contribution. Please tell me.

How can we take 7 and 12? As b joined 5 months and after 1 year of joining of b, profit is calculated. So we should take (12+5=17) and 12 for a, b respectively. As in the previous online tests. This is the process which gave answer.

3500*12 = 42000 is ratio 42000/2 = 21000,
1 = 21000 then 3 ration will 63000 for 12 months,
63000/7months = 9000,
Total investment of B is 9000.
1 = 21000 then 3 ration will 63000 for 12 months,
63000/7months = 9000,
Total investment of B is 9000.
