Balance work = 1 - 5 = 3

Let the required number of days be x.

Then, 5 : 3 = :: 10 : x     5 x x = 3 x 10

x = 3 x 10 x 8

For 5 parts work he takes 10days
for 3 parts ?

3*10/5=6days

1 job = 10*8/5 = 16.

Remaining days = 16-10 = 6.
