In this question, we are assuming that 2005 is not a leap year and 2004 as a leap year; every non-year odd days gets incremented by 1 and leap year increments by 2 the same subtract the odd days if you calculate in reverse order.

Considering our case we are calculating from 2005 to 2004 and since 2004 is a leap year subtract 2 days (i.e) Tuesday - 2 = Sunday.

Total days passed from 8th Feb 2005 - 9th Feb 2004 is 366 days.
Therefore, the number of odd days is 2.
Meaning 9th Feb is a Wednesday(1 = Same day, 2 = Next day and so on). So, 8th Feb 2004 has to be Tuesday.

Guys 8th Feb 2004 is Sunday.

But by using the formula.

Day = Date+Month code+(x-1990)+(x-1990) /4.

We are not getting it as Sunday.

Can anyone explain what is problem with our formula and what went wrong?
