x weeks, x days, = 7x + 1x = 8x.
Here, we considered x = 1.

1 week = 7 days.
1 day = 1 day.
Then,
X week = X (7 days),
= 7X days.
X day = X (1 day),
= 1X day.
So you will get,
X week + X day = 7X + 1X,
= 8X days.
1 day = 1 day.
Then,
X week = X (7 days),
= 7X days.
X day = X (1 day),
= 1X day.
So you will get,
X week + X day = 7X + 1X,
= 8X days.

It's a general question.
According to our calendar we have 7 days in a week.
Therefore, in 'x' weeks we have '7x' days and "x" more days are already given in question
Adding (7x + x) we get the answer as [8x].
