Gain%=16 2/3 which means 1/6.
Gain% = sp/cp.
So,
sp = 1, cp = 6
Ratio = 1:6.
Gain% = sp/cp.
So,
sp = 1, cp = 6
Ratio = 1:6.

Simply,
16.66% water to be mixed in 100% milk.
In surd, 16.666/100 = 1/6.
16.66% water to be mixed in 100% milk.
In surd, 16.666/100 = 1/6.

Gain%,
So, 100 + 50/3 = 350/3.
So, 100 + 50/3 = 350/3.

Water always be the same amount, i.e, 100.
So the extra gain= mixed water, i.e, 50/3%.
water : milk = 50/3 : 100 = 50 : 300 = 1 : 6.
So the extra gain= mixed water, i.e, 50/3%.
water : milk = 50/3 : 100 = 50 : 300 = 1 : 6.

Let cp of milk in% be = 100%,
So, milk : water = 100% : 16 2/3%,
100% : 50/3 = 1: 6.
So, milk : water = 100% : 16 2/3%,
100% : 50/3 = 1: 6.

CP of milk = X.
Water is added
SP of mixture= 1.1667X.
1.1667X=X+0.1667X.
X=milk 0.1667X=Water.
0.1667/1.1667=0.142.
14.2% = Water and 85.7 % milk.
14.2/85.7=1/6.
The water and milk are in the ratio of 1:6.

The amount of water =x litre.
Amount of milk= 100-x litre.
Profit= (x/(100-x))*100=50/3.
x=100/7=amount of water.
Amount of milk= 100-100/7=600/7.
The ratio of the amount of water to milk=1:6.
