Sir,

It is based on the situation. I Know that lie creates problems so I will tune my mind for solving the problem. If not, if my lie benefits the company and majority of the people are not effected then there is no alternative and I will do it.

I am not in favour of telling a lie as it's not a solution of a problem but it leads one away from finding the solution because after telling lie, one thinks if I catch, what will happen, so he/she thinks to hide that lie with another one. Thus one wastes time for making excuses instead of solving problem.

In my sense lie is not an option to solve the problem. And more over this lie generates more problems than an actual problem. So it is better to solve one problem instead of thinking to solve for more problems.

One would lie to solve a problem but every problem has a solution. I would better tune my mind to find a solution. Moreover company and customers expects me to be loyal and honest. If the customer knows that I'm a liar, it would further deplete the companies growth. SO MY ANSWER IS NO.

Sir, telling lie is not at all a solution to problems. Truly saying, lie itself create major problems because telling lie is the most easiest thing but to hide that lie, we have to tell another 100 lies. So beyond telling lie, I find an alternate solution to solve the problem.

Sir,

One would lie to hide a problem.

To lie I need to WORK OUT a lie and a 100 other lie to hide the first lie.

Instead of channeling my thoughts in that direction I would rather WORK OUT a possible solution to the problem. That would be a long term approach than saying a lie which would one day be revealed certainly. Lying would be the absolute last option.

May be my lie would give a false reputation to my company, but a day will come when the truth will be disclosed and that will endanger my company's reputation. The trust of the customer once lost, would never come back. But I assure you to find out the alternate solution of that problem. Lie is not the only solution.

Yes sir, definitely. When we were at childhood mom would lie for us to eat by saying that moon but the moon can't come. But the child may felt happy. But when mom would lie with dad it is mistake. So I think lie will depend on the situations. If company will be in problem If I would lie then It will be helpful. Then we might lie in many situations which will help others in our life. No person is there without saying lie in the entire life. It is my opinion.

I can't give a straightforward answer for this because when it comes to lying, lying is not associated with straightforwardness, lying makes a situation complex, so I can give only a complex reply.

If I see something where there is no major harm being done, then I would not mind. In practicality, a lot of things are based on a little bit of lying - you make commitments which you're not actually capable of fulfilling but then you need to make it to win confidence from your clients. Ofcourse you should not over-commit, that's where you need to be careful in choosing when to lie.

However, there are times when I can't do so. For example, if there is an unethical practice going on in an organization, I can't lie just because I work for that organization. If I speak up the truth, the organization won't actually be hit because whatever unethical practices, the organization is doing is because of a few individuals and if the organization can handle them appropriately, then the problem can be sorted out.
