We always take basic diagram for conclusions you are right when the situation demands we take alternative diagram but here there is no need to take alternative diagram.

That's true you take either of the possibility in your answer hence option A. If the q mentioned the word POSSIBILITY then statement 2 will also be included.

(What is S and P here between ?) Anyway. If we would have 1st(no A+I) or 4th figure (No A+I). All conclusions would be invalid. 2nd option is not possible.
