In each of the following questions two statements are given. Which are followed by four conclusions (1), (2), (3) and (4). Choose the conclusions which logically follow from the given statements.

Conclusions:
- All the research scholars are scientists.

In the second fig, option 2 is satisfied, however in fig 1 it isn't. So if there is any doubtful case so we have to reject it.

We have to establish a definite relationship between research scholar and scientist.
In figure 1 we get "no research scholar is a scientist" and in figure 2 we get "some research scholar are scientists". This forms a complementary set of conclusions, either of them is possible but NOT both.
Hence ONLY "some research scholar are scientists" is not a DEFINITE conclusion. So option 2 alone is invalid. So 3 & 4 are correct.
In figure 1 we get "no research scholar is a scientist" and in figure 2 we get "some research scholar are scientists". This forms a complementary set of conclusions, either of them is possible but NOT both.
Hence ONLY "some research scholar are scientists" is not a DEFINITE conclusion. So option 2 alone is invalid. So 3 & 4 are correct.

Second option also correct how to say 3 & 4 is correct. Any one give proper explanation friends?
