Directions to Solve
In each of the following questions two statements are given and these statements are followed by two conclusions numbered (1) and (2). You have to take the given two statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.
Give answer:
- (A) If only (1) conclusion follows
- (B) If only (2) conclusion follows
- (C) If either (1) or (2) follows
- (D) If neither (1) nor (2) follows and
- (E) If both (1) and (2) follow.

Statements: All the windows are doors. No door is a wall.
Conclusions:
- Some windows are walls.
- No wall is a door.

According to me, Option E is correct. Because we can not draw a possible diagram for this question, except we can draw a basic diagram.
When we try to draw the possible diagram here we can not put or accommodate Wall with Window or Door because in a statement it is clearly given that "No Wall is a Door" i.e. we can not put wall with door and window.
So, we have to solve the question only based on the Basic Diagram. In a basic diagram, both options will come wrong. Therefore according to my result, Option E is correct.
When we try to draw the possible diagram here we can not put or accommodate Wall with Window or Door because in a statement it is clearly given that "No Wall is a Door" i.e. we can not put wall with door and window.
So, we have to solve the question only based on the Basic Diagram. In a basic diagram, both options will come wrong. Therefore according to my result, Option E is correct.

How the answer could be option B?
According to the rules of syllogism, if there is a universal negative statement the conclusion should consist of negative argument and we can't use the middle term in the conclusion thus the correct answer should be option D.
