Here there is another method.

11*10+10
10*9+9
9*8+8
8*7+7
7*6+6
If we follow like this answer will be;
6*5+5 which is 35.

99-80=19
[19-17=2]

80-63=17
[17-15=2]

63-48=15
[15-13=2]
So subtract 48-13=35.

Finally, the difference between the series is 2.

There any be another logic for this question which,

(10)^2 - 1=99
(9)^2 - 1=80
(8)^2 - 1=63
(7)^2 - 1=48.

So with this conclusions;
