Answer (b) is correct as we can clearly see there are three girls (d, b, c) definitely but we can't make out G is a girl or a boy. So the answer (b) 3/4 is correct.
The arrangement can be made easily but a number of girls and boys is little tricky.

Since A is sitting with his best friends which means more than one so 3 people will be sitting on first bench. F is a boy so B has to be a girl as only two two students will sit on 2 and 3 bench. C can not sit on bench 1 and bench 2 is occupied by F and B so it sits on bench 3. Rest can be figured easily.

3 girls should be there definitely because A is a boy because his word is used for A, and his represent a boy.

Because its not clear whether G is a girl or boy. It is said that there has to be at least 1 girl but not necessarily 1 girl only on each bench. And G's gender is not specified. So there is 3 or 4 girls.

Why it is 3 or 4? Why not 3 only? If its clearly mentioned about the boys here.

A is male member because its mentioned in question:
A sits on the bench I with his best friends.
D is a female member because at-least one girl should be sitting on a bench.
