- C and N are diagonally opposite to each other.
- E is opposite to O who is just next right of M.
- P who is just to the left of Q, is opposite to D.
- M is at one end of the line.

In the question, they said 2 times clearly D is opposite to Q. But the answer is different. Can someone explain why?

Diagonal to each other means, connect all the points, then it would make a square figure, and the diagonal would be the end letters of the figure. For example, consider a square and name it as ABCD, then A is a diagonal to D and B is diagonal to C.
