I want to clarify some of these conditions, because it seems like they're being interpreted differently by everyone.

2. Harry is just next to the left of Larry.

Does this mean Harry is to Larry's immediate left or two to Larry's left?

3. There is at least one to the left of Larry.

Does this mean Larry is not in the far left position? How is this condition any different from condition #2?

4. Mike lives in between Paul and Larry.

Does this mean Mike's immediate neighbors are Paul and Larry, or does this mean Mike is just somewhere between Paul and Larry?

For ROBERT, JACK, TAUD and SIMAN there are 3 combinations possible. RJTS, TJRS, JTRS. So the answer is not clear.

There are several seating arrangements possible. But the answer. For the question is C only. Bcz, if Taud is coming in between Paul and Jack, either Robert should be at the right end or Jack should be near to Simon. Those are not possible.

_HLMP_ _ _are fixed positions.

If, _HLMPTJ_.

RHLMPTJS (J and S together not possible).
Or,
SHLMPTJR (at least one should be right to R- so this combination also not possible).

All other answers A, B and D are not strictly incorrect. They are possible options.
