@ALL

The given answer is correct. Let me explain in detail.

1. Cut
2. Put on
3. Mark
4. Measure
5. Tailor (consider it as VERB not as NOUN).

Here all the given words are VERB. (Tailor means - Adjust to a specific need).

Now rethink to answer the question. Hope this help you.

Note: Suppose if you think the correct order is 54312, it is not given in any option. So there is no chance to get confused, right?

Puton: put on - wear: put clothing on one's body;

"What should I wear today?";
"He put on his best suit for the wedding";
"The princess donned a long blue dress";
"The queen assumed the stately robes";
"He got into his jeans";

Ans Option (D) 4,3,1,5,2 is correct. There is most of gay's are confused in understanding the meaning of Tailor. The meaning of the tailor is stitch, sew.

So image now,

Measure - 4
Mark - 3
Cut - 1
Tailor - 5 (Sew)
Put on - 2 (Wear) Isn't is.

Actually the process of stitching of a dress is that first of all take measurements and marks the fabric then cut it in its shape. It all is done by Cutter Master and then it goes to tailor master to stitch.

I hope the perception will help you.

It should be:

2 (put on).
3 (measure).
4 (mark).
1 (cut).
5 (tailor....stitch up) and here is why?

You don't measure, or mark, or cut, or tailor unless you have already "put on the garment".

Yes, 54312 is also correct. But here meaning of tailor in the question is stitching. After cutting the cloth we cant wear it directly. The answer which is given is right (43152).

Tailor measure mark cut put on is wrong.

Because after cutting no one cannot put on directly without tailoring.

Here tailor is for stitching.

@barbie,

I gues means a guy who stitches. Dont it should have been atleast 'tailoring' in order to get some sense!

So i'l say 54312.

First, take measurements, then mark, cut, then you see it with the machine (tailor) then you wear what has been sawn (put on simple.
