I guess it depends on the facing of M L A - if they are facing North - the answer is Mango. If they are facing South, the answer is Apple. Since the info doesn't state tree facings, So, I believe the answer should be "data is inadequate".

I have this kind of arrangement.

Row 1- Pomegranate - Mango - Lemon - Apple.

Row 2- Raspberry - Papaya - Guava - Banana.

It also satisfy all conditions. So as per this the tree opposite to Banana tree may also be APPLE.

Row 1- Pomegranate or Papaya - Mango - Lemon - Apple.

Row 2- Raspberry - Pomegranate or Papaya - Guava - Banana.

Yes, I too got the same answer that opposite to banana is the apple tree.

I also have the same arrangement mentioned by Sanket Shah, it satisfied the 4th condition, and opposite to banana tree is Apple. This may also true.

Pa/pom ---app--lemon--mango.

Raspb--pa/pom--guava--banana.

Data is inadequate, it can be either apple or mango depending on the arrangement taken.

Your arrangement can't satisfy condition 4. I think there is a problem in question.

The answer should have been data inadequate. The diagram is uncertain.
