There are 2 possible answers. It could be North or south as whether it's sunrise/sunset is not specified.

Morning is given in the question, so it is definitely sunrise.

Simply without a change in diagram everyone answer South but in Question given morning that time diagram change because Sunrise always East.
That's way I think the answer is North.

Sunset or sunrise is not imp, just think it whose names starts Frist straightway take him north side because there is no mention direction so,
Vishal name start then took him to the north position and facing south.
Udai stands in the South position and facing the north side, the shadow is not imp.

Udai stands in the South position and facing the north side, the shadow is not imp.

Since the sun rises in the east, shadows always fall toward the west in the morning. For a shadow to appear exactly to the left or right, the person cannot be facing east or west, because in those directions the shadow would fall directly behind them. Therefore, they must be facing either north or south.
Now, if Udai were facing south, Vishal (standing opposite him, facing north) would have his shadow fall to Udai’s right. But if Udai is facing north, then Vishal (standing opposite him, facing south) will have his shadow fall exactly to Udai’s left.
Hence, Udai must be facing North.
