What is the right side of the x?
West-X-East.
So, Y is in the northeast of X then,
P is in the south-west of y i.e. P is in the south and left of Y is west i.e., West-Y-East.
So the answer is South-West.

What you have to do is follow the arrow, the southeast is a right down tilted arrow and the southwest is a left down tilted arrow.
So draw the diagram and the arrow of which relation you want to find and match the direction of the arrow!

Y is east of x which is north of z. Means x position will be west of Y and north of z. After he said p position will be south of z.
There will be created a right-angle triangle.
