Y is East of x.
So Y is in East direction.
X is in West.
Z is South of x.
P is South of z.
Then Southwest is the answer.
So Y is in East direction.
X is in West.
Z is South of x.
P is South of z.
Then Southwest is the answer.

What you have to do is follow the arrow, the southeast is a right down tilted arrow and the southwest is a left down tilted arrow.
So draw the diagram and the arrow of which relation you want to find and match the direction of the arrow!
