Explanation:
Here one of the two common faces (5) is in the same position, then according to the rule no (2) the remaining face with the 4 dots will be opposite to face with dots 2.

I agree 2 is the right answer.

1 faces ---- 1 dot + 5 dot = 7 (that means simple dice ).
&
2 faces --- 1 dot +5 dot = 7 (that means simple dice ).
So rest faces will be 2 dots on the 1 dice & 4 dots on the 2 dice.
So, ans is 4 opposite 2.

Rule of two common faces in the same position is not using in this question. Use the rule of the 2common number in the faces then the uncommon number is opposite.
