Hey Khushbu, these both are independent effects only. as in the first statement the airport staff is withdrawing the strike they had because of privatization. But in the second statement they r going for stike for some unknown reason(cause of strike is unknown as it is not mentioned here in st 2).The staff can do the strike due to many reasons(may or may not be privatization).In the second statement the staff can withdraw the strike due to any cause independent of second statement(may be the increase in salary or facilities). so both statements r the causes of independent causes.
