First case says "N" is male. Second case says that "N" is male. 3rd case says that "N" is grandmother of "Q". So option d is right choice.

Sorry in this case 2nd one is right because N is female.

Option d is correct.

In option a, N is grandfather of P.
In option b, N is grandmother of Q whose wife is P hence N cannot be the grandmother of P
In option c, N is grandfather of P.
So option d is correct

In option 2, N is grandmother-in-law of P. Question asks for grandmother.

P@Q --> Q is P's husband.

Q$M --> M is Q's father.

M#N --> N is M's Mother.

Hence N is Q's grandmother but not P's as P is Q's wife rather the relation may be Grand Mother-in-law.

I think, the correct form is P $ Q @ M # N because grandmother : son's mother of a mother.

D is correct.

N being the grandmother she must be a female. And none of the options follows that.

Option B is not right because, N is grandmother-in-law for P. In 1st and 3rd cases, N is mentioned as male. So, the correct option is D.
