Option C is correct because in that way option C says that P is the mother of Q, Q is the father of N, N is the sister of M.
So, In that way, it says that M's sister is N, N's father is Q, Q's mother is P. So, in this way M is the grandmother of P, in this way option C is correct.
THANKS.

Option B is not right because, N is grandmother-in-law for P. In 1st and 3rd cases, N is mentioned as male. So, the correct option is D.

D is correct.
N being the grandmother she must be a female. And none of the options follows that.

I think, the correct form is P $ Q @ M # N because grandmother : son's mother of a mother.

P@Q --> Q is P's husband.
Q$M --> M is Q's father.
M#N --> N is M's Mother.
Hence N is Q's grandmother but not P's as P is Q's wife rather the relation may be Grand Mother-in-law.

Hence N is Q's grandmother but not P's as P is Q's wife rather the relation may be Grand Mother-in-law.
