"He is the son of the only son of my mother." Please observe the sentence that mentions "only son of my mother" it means mother has only one son that is suresh, hence the son (in photograph) of suresh means-Suresh is father of that boy.

If "only" would not have been there, it will mean mother would have more than one child (suresh) then answer would be different.

Sure, it makes sense. But it is a lot easier if you know that Suresh is a man's name.

Ask question who is Suresh ?

Suresh is the only son of mother.

Hence the boy is the son of Suresh.

No the explanation is wrong.

He is telling that "His mother has only son."
means,

1. He is telling that she is his mother.

2. She has only son.

means He is showing himself.

Split the sentence as,

1) He is the son.
2) The only son of my mother.

2 point means suresh itself.
now join both sentence, it becomes,
He is the son of suresh.
Therefore suresh is the father.
I hope it helps.

His son

Therefore the father is the best alternative here
I hope this helps!

Could you explain through the chart method?

The question clearly pointed that - son of the only son of my mother (that boy is the son of mine and i'm the only son of my mother).

* mother-son(suresh)-son(boy)
Could you get it ?
