Here the gender of Angali is not mentioned. So the answer should be D.

Here it is clearly mentioned "only son". There is a chance that grand father may have daughters and anjali is the daughter of them. (a possibility). So I think the answer would be 'D'.

@Harshu, me too think the same. Grandfather doesn't necessarily mean dad's dad. It could be mom's dad too. Me too think the answer could be D.

It's mentioned as "only son". So there is only chance and that would be "paternal grandfather".

Only son and only child are different things. Only son can also mean he has 1 son and 1 or more daughters.

So, grandfather's only son could be PAPA or Uncle.

Answer D should be correct.

Explanation:
Grandfather ----------Only Son(Father)----- Son (He).
Grandfather ---------- Anjali Mother----- Anjali.
Therefore Answer Should be 'D'.

And also we can not confirm gender with the name. So I think Anjali's gender we don't know then. We can' t confirm A is the solution it may D.

Exactly!

Here "son of the only son of my grandfather" is mentioned, but the grandfather has any daughter, nothing about this context is discussed there so the option should be D more precisely!
