D is the correct answer, the reason is because you can't bow with an arrow.

Here Thrust is a verb and Spear is a noun. For Verbal Analogies, you must find the best answer not everything is so cut and dry. Bow and arrow are both nouns so although they are an answer they aren't the best. D on the other hand is both a verb fence and noun epee.

No Rakesh you are wrong.

An epee(A fencing sword with a bowl-shaped guard and a long, narrow, fluted blade that has no cutting edge and tapers to a blunted point) is fenced.

And, a spear (A spear is a pole weapon consisting of a shaft, usually of wood, with a pointed head) is thrusted wid force.

Ans:B.

Thrust the pointed part of the spear is a part of it [different material].

In the same way, scabbard [handle of the sword] is a part of it [different material].

Here thrust is used for protection from spear and in the same way fence protects from epee, here spear and epee both are weapons. So this option is absolutely correct.

No the correct answer is "A". Becoz using spear we can thrust(push) similarily using iron we can injure badly by beating (mangle).

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Spear lies in the sporting group of thrust. In the same way, epee lies in the sporting group of fencing. Fencing consists of three games; foil, epee and sabre.

I suggest bow and arrow because thrust means pushing with force and spear is a weapon so this also goes correct. Sorry if I m wrong.

Thrust is a reaction force using spear similarly fencing or fence is an activity which uses epee. EPEE is a long slim bladed sword.

The answer is fence:epee definitely because you thrust with a spear and fence with an epee. The other options don't make sense.
