Yes, septet and quartet are related to the numbers seven and four, but they are not number bases, like decimal and binary. The words septet and quartet instead refer to, in music, either a group of multiple singers, or to mathematical tuples.

In simple algebra, numbers concerned with 10 is called 'Decimal' and numbers concerned with 2 is called 'Binary'. In BINARY system there is no place of numbers like 3, 4, 5 etc. So, there is no question of option A, B, D.
(1)

The representation of numbers in decimal system are considered to be base10,whereas the numbers in the binary are represented to be base 2.Also... deci means 10 and bi means 2.

What nicy is absolutely correct. Its about base and not number significance. Quince is 5 in french but 10 and 2 are respective base of decimal and binary number system.

In Binary number system base is 2.

In octal number system base is 8.

In Decimal number system base is 10.

In Hexadecimal number system base is 16.

With 10 there is a decimal system, similarly with there is a binary system.

Others are signify only meanings.
