Exactly correct according to the grammar, this must be like:
Having received your letter this morning, we wrote to thank you for the same.

I think A is correct but the error is in C statement "to thank you for the same".
It should be "we are writing a thank you for the same".
It should be "we are writing a thank you for the same".

It will be further more meaningful if we write it as.
"having received your letter this morning, we write to thank you for the same. ".

I think it should be I am writing this letter.
When a group writes a letter a single person writes it and mentions on behalf of others.

I think the sentence should start with subject. I. E.
After having received your letter this morning.
So there might be answer is A.

I think it should be :- After receiving your letter this morning,we are writing to thank you for the same. So option A is incorrect

The correct answer is option C.
It should be "Having received your letter this morning, we are writing to thank you for it".
It should be "Having received your letter this morning, we are writing to thank you for it".
