Discussion :: Spotting Errors - Section 1 (Q.No.74)
Read each sentence to find out whether there is any grammatical error in it. The error, if any will be in one part of the sentence. The letter of that part is the answer. If there is no error, the answer is 'D'. (Ignore the errors of punctuation, if any).
(solve as per the direction given above)

Why use "the" before 9th September. I think it is wrong also?

Here we can't use 'the'.

Here, "the" is wrong.

It should be "On the 9th "OF" September at five o'clock".

|You are right @Gautam.
But this sounds more sensible 'On 9th September at 5 o'clock'. I think 'of' can be used when the statement says the number in words.
