Why is it not like "How could she kill the wolf", because they are asking a question which should be in the interrogative form?

C is WRONG. The word "single-handed" functions as an adverb and not an adjective because it pertains to how she "kill the wolf". So it must be in the adverb form "single-handedly".
Correction: single-handedly and without a weapon.
