These are some idioms of english.

Eg if you are using "not only" in a sentence thn thr must be "but also" in tht sentence. Same way "no sooner". "than" etc etc.

There are many such words. For eg.:

Not only.... but also
Scarcely.....when
Both ..... and
Hardly ..... when. etc.
