Yes I also say the same, The majority is plural by itself so you can't say majority recommends when you mention professionals in the statement.

Option B is wrong. If it were "the majority" alone eg: "The majority recommends", then its fine. But in the above sentence "the majority" is not alone.
It is "the majority of computer professionals" so it ll be plural. So "recommend" should be used in place of "recommends" in above sentence.

Rule:
"The majority" (when not followed by "of") always takes singular verb.
"The majority of players/students/people/professionals etc" always takes plural verb.

Why A is correct in Q5?

But there is a rule that we should not make any change in subject, if this rule is applied then second sentence is correct.

A majority is singular, that is one set of computer professionals who are in majority recommend something. So option B is correct. A majority of the computer professionals recommends that is correct!
