There is a spelling mistake in option C which is supposed to be ignored. It is "quite" and not "quit".

I think the correct answer is:
"I cannot recall what exactly he said to me, but when I was quite, he said something to me".
"I cannot recall what exactly he said to me, but when I was quite, he said something to me".

There seems some grammatical error in option C.
It can either be:
"I do not recall what exactly he said to me, but when I was about to quit, he said something to me".
"I do not recall what exactly he said to me, but when I was quiet, he said something to me".

Shouldn't it be "I do not recall" since it's always "I CANNOT recall"?
