At first, the sentence started as Kamala's so by comparing with Shyama, grammatically ended with as Shyama's.

It is because fountain pain of Shyama and Kamala needs to be compared. In C paper, it is written as Shyam which compares Kamal pen with Shyama. That's not correct.
