"I AM HEARING" is a present continuous tense. So how is it wrong ?

I AM HEARING can be used when the sentence is like the following.
"In these days I am hearing a lot about the problem of AIDS"- this is Present continuous.
"In these days I am hearing a lot about the problem of AIDS"- this is Present continuous.

As "here" is a state verb that's why present simple should be used.

There are few of the verbs like hear, feel (which is not seen by other people such kind of verbs) for which we don't use "ing".
For example while we mean " I am feeling" it should be as "I feel" in English.

Some verbs are not used with continuous tense. As, Like, want, hear, know, see, seem, appear, understand, notice, belong, believe, remember, fear etc.
