I think "the Indian" also wrong this one because vowel sounds are a, e, i, o, you then Indian "i" is there so we use "an".

'an indian radio' specifies a particular radio bt we r talking in general about the indian radio industry so we use 'the'

According to my knowledge, If we refer a particular noun we use 'The' and we talk about generalize we use "an"

Tell me 1thing as in past continuous we use was with ing. Then why in 2nd sentence with was we don't use ing.
