@All.
I am free now.
Now I am free.
Both sentences are correct and can be used in a similar manner and in place of the other. But, when we observe it minutely, we see a subtle but great difference. "I am free now' means something like, "I am currently free but I will have to get back to work later. So, if there is something extra which needs to be attended to, I can do it now'. Now, "Now I am free' is very definitive and lofty. It indicates that now that something big/monumental has happened, I am (finally) free. Say, I got rid of guilt by performing an act of charity and now my conscience is clear or may be I achieved personal liberty which I did not have before.
I am free now.
Now I am free.

The difference between these two terms "Free now" and "now free" is as follows:
When you say "now free from, " the word from joins free with person or organisation, for example.
India is now free from British rule (Here from is linking free and British rule).
When Britishers left India and we got independence, we can write:
India is now free or India is free now.

"The Indian radio which was previously controlled by the British rulers is free now from the narrow vested interests".
- Which indicates it is removed from control.
"Free from" means released or removed from something.
So the correct sentence is, "The Indian radio which was previously controlled by the British rulers is now free from the narrow vested interests".
- Which indicates it is removed from control.
"Free from" means released or removed from something.
So the correct sentence is, "The Indian radio which was previously controlled by the British rulers is now free from the narrow vested interests".

Now is used after the verb of Before Subject.
Like,
1- I am free now.
2- Now, I am free.
So there are no differences between 'Free now' and 'now Free' if we see them as a word only, but whenever we make Sentences through it then we always use free now.
Because free is verb & Now is placed after verb Free.
Has anyone got it?

According to me, now is an adverb and free is an adjective. If we use 'free now', free (which is an adjective) ends up modifying now (which is an adverb) , which is grammatically incorrect. An adjective can modify only a noun whereas an adverb can modify verbs, adjectives and adverbs.
Please correct me if I've missed something.

For the best of my knowledge "from" is a preposition so that where ever we will write we have to write "free from". Because it is a fixed preposition. We cannot write separately these two words. You can also search so many fixed preposition in the Grammar.

In my point of view,
eg: He is now free from his work.(mentioning the little time period that he is now only free).
Sheela solved all her problems so that she free now.(mentioning the long time period that she will be free hereafter).

In option, B. Isn't it the statement wrong.
[B]. Which was previously controlled by the British rulers.
Which could be written correctly as; "which was controlled by the British rulers".

"The Indian radio" cannot be 'an Indian radio' because Indian radio is unique in the world that's it can't present at any other place except India that is radio is specific of India.
