I think answer should be A.
Because population of Tokyo is comparing with all the country except itself. So "Superlative degree" should be used.

The Correct answer would be - A.
Because here we are comparing Tokyo with all other towns in the world. So we describe with among over here.

I think option A. Sentence itself showing the superlative form of population of Tokyo. Using among, city's population can be easily compared.

Answer is E.
If greater than is used it may represent anything like weather, price, etc. So we use 'that' to represent populatin.

In the case of 2 countries greater should be used but for more country greatest should be used. So the answer may be option A.

It should be D as it is in comparison form and I think that option D suits the best. Please say why it should be E and not D?

The answer should be A because the comparison is with the all towns of the world. So the Superlative degree must be used.

PLEASE provide an evidence that E is the right answer but I think D is the most appropriate, because it is comparison.
