In as much as I also think A is correct, I'm also tempted to think D is also correct. The sentence in itself is even better than its suppose correction which is A.

According to my mind answer B is correct because in a sentence we can't use two times negative word.

Unless itself a negative word hence not should not be used so the given question is wrong. Of the four option A is right because the given sentence gives a negative sense so option A is appropriate one. Thank you.

Here there are two connectives so we know that in one sentence double connectives are not required. i.e. we have to remove one connective but the meaning should be same.

Main verb doesn't have negative contraction, it needs helping verb.

It is simple present negative sentence. so, no helping verb in this sentence.

Helping verb is not mentioned. This is a negative sentence.

Verb is mentioned here inorder to use verb we are using helping verb. That must be used after the subject.
