Correct sequence will be QRPS which is not given in option, friction is due to air so statement S FOLLOWED BY statement P.

Friction make the rocket hot. So S will be end point. Air makes friction. So P comes just before the friction topic. :)

In statement [S],"As a" is there. It means for some reason there is less friction.

This reason is mentioned in [R] that "due to atmosphere gets thinner". So S always follows R.

We get RS.

Now in [P], "However" is there, So there must be conflicting statement before it. Hence P follows Q.

So we get QP.

Now there are two possibility either "RSQP" or "QPRS". for selecting one between these two option we read statement [S6].

Definitely statement S makes meaning before S6 but P don't.
Therefore our sequence goes QPRS.
