Here it is mentioned the age and not the condition. Senility is a mental condition of old age, and dotage is the age when these mental problems happen.

Imbecility:- if you are feeble of mind or weak on grasping things. This condition is said to be imbecility.
Example:- he fell into melancholy (addiction) of drugs, imbecility and at last got mad.

Senile:- it is the adjective for the specific loss of one's mind.
Example:- He keeps forgetting things: I think he's getting senile.

Dotage:- as same as senile but the main difference of senile and dotage is a noun for the time in one's life when one is aged and not as strong as before. Whereas Senility is the state of being when one is senile, an adjective for the specific loss of one's mind as one age.

Senility (B) is the correct answer.

Let me tell you why and how. Look at the statement: "Extreme old age when a man BEHAVES LIKE A FOOL".

So, we are talking not only of weakness in physical abilities but also a loss of mental faculties.

A quick google search should tell you:.

1. Senility is the condition of being senile.

Now, 'senile' refers to having or showing the weaknesses or diseases of old age, especially A LOSS OF MENTAL FACULTIES.

2. Dotage is the period of life in which a person is old and weak. The definition does not align with the second part of the statement in question.

Senile is specifically for mental condition so childish behavior comes from senility but dotage is a close one but its for weakness, not the behavior. I am so sure because we had a poem where 7 stages of life eas shown and the last was senility which says childish behavior.

Even you can go for Google or a dictionary.
