Mostly we use different in negative situations.

The question is ambiguous. It can mean negative as well as positive.

For example.

There is something different about ram today.

Now here different can mean both good and bad.

Ya. The answer is taken in negative sense only. By seeing the question it appears as if it is in positive sense. So please can anyone clarify about the answer?
