Anyone can explain how [C] is correct?

Why option A is not correct? Here also x less than y.

As per options given B and D posses x-axis value > y-axis value but C can be obtained only when x-axis value < y-axis value and option A has small value where C cannot be drawn. So option C is the right answer.
