Option D is correct as in all images, the number of sides is equal to the number of lines but in option D) 4 i.e. here is the pentagon, more than lines on it.

In fig. 2, 3, 4, 5 all the pin pointed inside the side of fig. But in fig. 1 all pins are pointed inside the edge. Now I hope you understand.

Option E could also be correct since if you fold them in half from the vertical axis, that is the only one that does not match.

Option (E) could also be correct, as it is the only which has no vertical line of symmetry.

1 is correct because all other figures are regular polygons although figure 1 has five sides of the pentagon.

Only in option A THE PINS ARE POINTED AT THE VERTEX OF THE MAIN FIGURE.

Item 2 is the only one sitting on a point. All others are sitting on a flat surface - so why not 2?
