Mycoplasma lacks a cell wall around their cell membrane. Without a cell wall, they are unaffected by many common antibiotics such as penicillin or other beta-lactam antibiotics that target cell wall synthesis. (they attack the cell wall by attaching PBPs).

There is no cell wall in mycoplasma due to which lack of PBP therefore antibiotic cannot bind.

Because these bacteria lack peptidoglycan layer. So, their cell wall which covalently binds to another amino acid of the neighbouring chains hence no transpeptidase which catalyses the reaction. And the mode of action of penicillin is to inhibit the enzyme transpeptidase. So the Mycoplasma Bacteria's lack of cell wall and are resistance to pencillin.

Mycoplasma lack Cell Wall penicilin kill bacteria by inhibiting transpeptidation. A crucial step for cell wall formation therefore, no way of working of penicilian lack of the cell wall in mycoplasma also give it another important charecteristics changing of shape. That's called pleomorphic in nature.

Mycoplasmas is the correct answer.

Because penicillin inhibits the cell wall synthesis process and thus effective for killing those bacterial species having cell wall but it is resistant to Mycoplasmas as Mycoplasmas lack cell wall.
